Hi All
newbie here.
Using gmail, I click on display pictures on Aria emails on special deals etc but no pics - any ideas?
Just those white boxes with a little red x in it.
Clicked the allow pictures from this site button?

Hi
Thanks for the advice, but you may have missed this in my original - or is this something different?
Could be just dodgy aria, i would say theres nothing you can do really their problem.

I have a feeling it's more of a gmail thing - several company emails come through without any way of showing their pictures.
People like Dabs I think it is have a button that says something along the lines of \"if this email doesn't show up properly click here\" and it goes to a normal webpage and then of course you can see everything.
Weird and kind of annoying.
I never have any problems really, but i dunno.

I just gave it a try and it seems to be ok for me:
Before clicking show images:
http://www.ariapc.co.uk/mainimages/gmail1.jpg
After showing images:
http://www.ariapc.co.uk/mainimages/gmail2.jpg
When you right click on one of the broken images and select properties, what location does it give you? Should be something like http://www.aria.co.uk/static/legacy/mainimages/MON-TFTC-TC-37HD.jpg

All the sections say Not Available
then that means that the graphic file (on aria's server) has gone walkabouts.

Well, I can certainly rest easier know that's been resolved.
Thank you benzeman.
I think this is the closest thing to necrophilia you can get on a family forum.
2007? Am I reading this right? This is probably the oldest thread revival I've ever seen.

Finally! After 5 years, we can now put this thread into the solved pile. It's been bugging us for years!
I might even lock this thread sometime...

Five-star thread!
I'd go as far as a 10 star thread if I could.
