well, the reason why im making this thread is because at first i was gonna get the XFX one, but then it was out of stock, so i ordered the asus CUCORE 5770.
and guess what? a few houres later the XFX 5770 was back in stock!
so i was just wondering, is the asus 5770 cucore any good? :( it comes with a 3 year warranty at least. :P
XFX are all 2 year aren't they? so in that respect seems OK :)

You can cancel your order I think.
The CuCore is still good though, some say it's better.
Id have the asus over the xfx any day. not much in it its just a preference. I wouldnt bother changing anything that would delay you getting your new card ;)

if the drivers work fine for you you can get a good OC on your card

well, the main reason why i dont want the asus is that it doesnt look very good, and xfx's packaging is better :p
oh, and it doesnt support eyefinity, this doesnt matter for me though.

It does support Eyefinity ;)
Also, when did you make your order.
You could get CS to cancel it.

mate is doesnt support eyefinity, it doesnt have a DP connection, trust me, that description is wrong. anyways im not worried about that, its just that im used to hvaing xfx cards so i dont know wether i should attempt to cancel my order and get the xfx one instead :/
Id say neither support eyefinity and that eyefinity is the 6 mini display ports in a line and all the others are just multiscreen. The GPU in the 5770 can run all teh screen you can plug in it but true eyefinity is the 6 head card.
they seem to misuse the term IMO

No, eyefinity is the brand name of running multiple (3-6) monitors from a single GPU.
Just because some cards can run 6, others can run 3, doesn't mean eyefinity is only 6.
No eyefinity support directly from the CuCore card though, without some active adapters and alot of money!
I suppose in theory, eyefinity only requires one DP, and that can be on either card - so can different makes be paired up?
That does seem like a stock description though and technically it may support it IF paired with another card that does have a DP.

as i said, i dont care about eyefinity its just the OC cabability, warranty, and cooling i care about.
well on those 3 points the cucore is better, the asus has voltage control great cooling and a longer warranty
