a 46% increase in power draw for 5% perf gain is a little much, having said that who knows :|

either way it wont make or break them, the 460 is their cash cow.

Definately a typo at 644W!

I've run a quick guesstimate at 460W load on that rig used and guessing the card itself is drawing around 320W at load compared to 300W of the lower model.

Therefore I guesstimate that the extra SP's add 20W on load and probably 1-2W idle.

This is all assuming the same architecture as the existing 480SP model and no differences to the memory configuration.

And? The last time I wrote a estimate of specs/performance based on what I knew and a little bit of guessing people hounded me as to how I got the figure I did.

Guesstimate = estimating with a bit of guess work since WE don't know all the facts.
