with the gtx460 and 465 retailing around £160-170

does this beg to ask that the much awaited competition has started and price drops are soon to come?

yup sure is :D gonna sell my 5770 to my little brother or if he ends up not wanting it i'll put it on here :), i really do hope they come down in price because my wages at the moment are crap :( sub 200 would be great if they went down to that price!

Everyone said they could afford to drop prices, but the lack of a drop suggests maybe they can't be that flexible.

From £110-£200 Ati have nothing.

i would expect the 5850's range to be about 175-225 and maybe even the 5870 to come down to about 250-275 for the lowest end card :|?

not to forget that asus crosshair 4 extreme and the 870a fuzion both have lucid hydra chips.

that bottom board doesnt look DDR3 though, or it might be my eyes decieving me :|
