View Full Version : ubuntu 10.04 3g stick internet dissapeared?

After applying updates the other day my wireless 3g stick from 3 has dissapeared from my network list, if i edit connections it is listed but it doesn't list it in the panel so i can't connect to it?

It is working as i'm using it right now in Win7 but want to get it working again in ubuntu, odd for it to just dissapear.

which provider and which stick. Wondering if the update that Three did the other day has messed up the drivers - my windows software to manage my 3g had a hefty software update the other day.

Yeah it's with Three, i didn't install the update though, not actually my stick.

Found the problem, Windows leaves it in a mode that Ubuntu can't pick it up properly on a cold boot - so have to boot to windows and then to Ubuntu - Net gets turned on by Sky Monday though anyway so i shall wait it out.
