Not clicked the link but it was only a generation ago their cards weren't to good when it came too TDP.

mine doesn't run hot. mine idle's at 52c and under load 70c.

If I turn my fan low I'll idle 60 odd :p (Talking 20% here)
At the moment, it's 48c at 30%.
Then again, my side panels off, so there's 4 less intake fans.

lol thats a great video :D and my card is 41 degrees idle with 65% fan speed and around 60 with the same fan speed :), not bad considering its been overclocked to what it will allow me to :lol:

nope, considering my room is very hot. plus if i put the fan on 100% it drops to 40c. 52 idle is lower than the 9800gt idle temp i had. plus i don't have the best case ventilation. only two antec tri cool's

My 5870 idle's at around 50c with the fan speed at 26%,
and my 3870x2 never went over 75c on the stock cooler, with a waterblock it never went over 40c and idled around 23c,
i cant wait for my ek block to turn up for my 5870 :).
love the video, its great when big companies show they have a sense of humour
