I would like your thoughts on this one.
There would be "also purchase" options for another 5870 to CF, a 64GB C300 SSD for a boot drive etc.
Looks good.
How much with a HD5850?
I would recommend it for a few peeps with a HD5850 for £650.
Also can you squeeze CAS8 RAM in for that price, the Eco or the Patriot?
Very nice, option for a different CPU cooler?
The Tranquillo is on par with a Titan Fenrir and a lot quieter.
Looks good.

Can do - G.SKILL Ripjaw CL8 for the same price. I'm trying to keep it colour co-ordinated - blacks, whites, blues.

Maybe, but it's not vital. That cooler is rather awesome and very quiet.

Make it a HD 5850 with the option to upgrade to HD 5870.
Replace the Corsair RAM with the G.Skill CL8 stuff, since it's got tighter timings for basically the same price.

Definitely have a purchase option for a lower GPU as well. Anything from a 5450 upwards will still leave the buyer with a capable build.

Changing memory.
I would do but the whole point of this build is to get amazing GFX performance in a PC at a decent price.

About £699.99 Inc.
Looks good :) hope it sells!
well personally, as the ATI folding@home client is still pretty pants, I'd want Nvidia :)
DT.
Well AMD is *** for SLI lol.
Looks good, but i would change the cpu cooler to this:

I want ti try keep this beast more or less silent during load.. even though that 5870 may ramp up a bit.
@ PSU. The TP Antec's are actually better performers than the TX series Corsairs.

Thanks guys :)
Nice, that was quick really (discounting the other thread).
Its quite impressive really that the forum has quite a big say in what the shop sells.
tom is right the gelid is just better than the titan
mind you isnt that 650w guna be tight if the guy orders another 5870 it will take it but would be close esp if they oc both and the cpu further

that is a good point i would look at maybe a 750w PSU
also and option for a SSD that is in stock
The C300 will be in stock very soon. Sorted that today. As for the 650W, it can do it but you are at your edge. It's hard to find a very decent PSU that's modular. Ideally i'd of liked a nice Corsair in there, but the TX isn't modular and isn't as good as the TP series from Antec which is modular. I know there are the OCZ ModXStream Pro's but i don't rate them.

Thats the idea from now on. I'll be putting proposed builds by myself with you guys with set budgets. When i used to be a lowly forum member at places like Novatech, and CCL i always wished my input spec'ing builds for people would be seen by the staff to produce some great PCs. So here's everyones chance to put in their input :)
