problem with xps screen not coming on :( any one wana buy the ting from me ? nice specs cant be botherd to fix cos i just got a new toshiba I5 for £500 :)

Na its not the keyboard its either the card or inverter the laptop boots fine gets to windows and then just wont light up or i open close the lid and it wont light up its very random.

Sounds like a driver issue, a fresh instal of windows will probably fix it

the problem is from bootup i dont see the dell boot options or bios loading if i shake and move the lid it will some times come on.

have you tried plugging a screen in the back?

sorry i was not clear there, ive removed every thing down to the heat sinks and applied new thermal paste checked the cables and so on windows when i can see it wont load drivers for the 7950gtx will just use vga only and ive tried forcing drivers nothing just vga im sure the cards gone so its open for parts if any one is interested.

im not selling it just fishing for intrest in parts, and maby some one out there has a 7900gs or 7900 gtx or 7950gtx?
