So I went to a local folk festival last night, and ended up in a really small acoustic venue - probably around 100 people. Stood there for a bit enjoying the music, and then the final act came on and it was Newton Faulkner. It was a completely secret gig and noone knew that he was going to be there. Great gig, very small and intimate setting - and I was actually very surprised at how good Newton Faulkner was..

Definitely someone I'd go and see again, and even better that it was such a small gig and a surprise as well!

Kinda hippy acoustic/groovy acoustic...either way it's brilliant, the guys voice is amazing.

Now if this isnt a perfect reason to get a iPhone or decent Android phone (Galaxy s or Desire) That you can watch Youtube clips on the go, then I dont know what is :D

That was just my Panasonic Lumix FZ18.. I think it was struggling a bit for the sound, as I was actually outside the tent at that point :lol: I'd just walked round to get a better view and then he started playing that song which I wanted to video.. So I just zoomed in and hit record :lol:
