22'' Cibox Widescreen TFT (Quickcode: #27029) - Wrong Specs?

Hello,

I'm interested in the 22\" Cibox C2201 monitor, but the specs on Aria seem to conflict with the specs on the Cibox site.

The manufacturer product page claims the presence of a DVI port (HDCP compatible no less), as well as VGA.

Both pages show an image with a black casing, but the description on Aria claims it is 'black/silver', and I have seen this monitor on numerous competitors sites in a full silver colour, so there may be more than one model.

Can anyone confirm the colour of the monitor, and the presence of a DVI connector?

Actually, if anyone has bought this panel I'd also be interested to hear your general opinions on it, and possibly some suggestions for alternatives.

I appreciate your comment - you are of course correct to caution people on taking product images a face value.

Being new here, I have no idea whom Arian is - but I welcome any info that can be given.

I may contact Aria Sales directly if nothing turns up by Monday.

Ive emailed someone on the shop counter to take a look but they not got back to me :evil: Ill have to have a look tomorrow. The one on the website looks black, but Ive got another newer image which looks silver to me!

We have one on display in the shop, it's a black stand with a silver frame.

I'd prefer all black, so may have to look at other panels.

Do you think the Cibox site is showing the specs for a newer/alternative model?

I'm guessing they have at least two models - one with DVI and one with HDCP DVI+VGA, but no apparent difference in model numbers.

You can try posting a question about the product on the product's page.. but I think the guy who answers most of them may still be off - broke his collar bone when we all went paint balling :oops: Dangerous activity!

... Ill also try and get the actual model number off the box tomorrow to double check.

The one that Aria sell is VGA only, due to a comment made on the page.

Please don't worry about the model number.
As Blaine has suggested, the Aria model is definately VGA and not entirely black, so I'll be wanting to go after another monitor anyway (Yuraku possibly).
