Memory controller Load stuck at 100%

I got myself a GTX275 recently (replaced a 9600gt) and I noticed after running a 3D app the memory controller load (on GPUz) stays at 100% instead of reverting back to a lower fluctuating value.
This is causing my idle temps to stay at just over 60oC whereas it was on 52-54oC on 2D mode.

Does anyone know of a solution for this?
