Well after a weekend removals 7am - 1am saturday and sunday i've finally got the entire contents of my house spread accross my parents, with many an aching limb to vouch for it.

I've ate more junk food in one weekend than the entire yearnomnom

The Transit I hired wasn't available so they gave me a Mercedes Sprinter extra long wheel base van which was almost the length of a coach :surprised: :chairfall:
was pretty shocking how it shifted for such a large barge of the van world. Had some comedy moments trying to reverse it into the drive.

So its back to living with the P's for 2 weeks at least while house sale completes, and while I wait on my purchase.

Missus parents live in Newquay LOL

Got an incredible amount of stuff set up, 37" in the bedroom ;) Pc will be setup in the attic, Fridge/Freezer setup next to existing one so loads of food storage :D

Tis going to be strange though, I moved out 10 years ago!

Take the opportunity to have a massive clearout, just leave the stuff you don't want with the 'rents ;D

Good luck with the rest of the moving!

I'd get whatever you not gonna use sold and start a fresh when you move into the new place.

Obviously keep TV & PC but get the rest sold. :D

yea, calling thyem a sprinter is a low but they can shift some weight, its all low down grunt.

bigger van should of made it easier tho i imagine as its less trips.

pics later, once i get the rig setup!

felt like king of the road, I can imagine where all this white van man rage comes from! The seat position is ridiculously high.

All i needed was a copy of The Sun on the dash, a meat and potato pasty on the seat, and a cheap polystyrene cup of coffee which spills everywhere when I turn a corner and i'd have been living the dream!

In two weeks time you have to do it all again when you move in!

Pics of the empty house/full of unpacked life afterwards?

I can't imagine doing it all on the actual day, which would have been everything in one van, i'd have needed a HGV of Tesco's style proportions.

You've either missed an apostrophe or you parents need help being dug out from your pile of stuff :D
