Looks good to me but i would suggest buying a case without a psu and get a branded psu seperately. also you will need a graphics card, or do you already have something to put in it?

I was going to suggest the Akasa Zen case but Aria dont seem to stock them any more????

The Akasa Paxpower 400watt psu should be ok, depending on graphics card go above a 7600gt and you might need something a bit beefier.

Just noticed you want 8800 you WILL need a decent 600ish psu then i recommend a Seasonic 600 then its powering my setup (similar to your spec) just fine.

Looks good mate, like others have said if your thinking of getting a 8800 series then buy a branded PSU, like these ones

I got the 8800, boy that card is a beast, before it arrived i could legitimately cliam i had the biggest weapon in the house, since its arrival junior has been force into second place.

Anyway, those two psu seems tad exspensive, considering i just spent 800 on my system, i know the argument, is the psu surge it will kill everything, but whats the likely chance it will happen say in the next 6 months? Can i hold out till then until i get more money?

At the end of the day the choice is yours but £65 is a small price to pay for a little extra piece of mind. Running your new system off of a generic case psu could be like playing russian roulette it might rufuse to power up from the word go, it might fail in a week / month / 6 months or it might not fail at all. Point is if it does fail be prepared for the worst as it could take out other parts of the setup. Branded psu's offer ALOT better protection.

you know what the funny thing is, i spent all this money buying components that really good at overclocking and i can't be arsed doing it now, plus i'm scared it'll damage my system.
