The original was really good, the three races have very distinct skills and weapons. Playing online was also great. The only downside with playing the original at the moment is that it's limited to about 800x600 resolution, so on my 19\" monitors it's a bit painful on the old eyes.

Not played supreme commander but looks along the same line - I think it's worth waiting for the new version of StarCraft otherwise the graphics from the old version will seem a bit pants.

... but if you find a cheap version then may as well grab it :wink:

Supreme Commander is crap. I played the demo and thought it was really boring :)

Starcraft on the other hand is brilliant!!
