Hello everyone. I have been using Aria.co.uk for the last few years. However, with the new site I have been unable to find the \"Custom PC Builder\" that was on the original site. Do you still need one for the new site, or will Aria build your new PC for you if you order all the necessary parts i.e. Mobo, GPU, CPU, RAM, Case, PSU etc...

Thanks in advance.

just been looking myself, thinking about buying a new pc when crysis/UT3 comes out, used aria custom pc builder on my last desktop and wanted to use them again.
be a shame if they have dropped that option.

I asked them in another thread where it went, and they said they're sorting it out but in the meantime you have to ring one of the departments and they'll sort it out for you, atleast thats what I remember.

EDIT: Here's the thread (http://www.aria.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2507)

Agreed and you learn alot whilst you are at it too.

I know what your going to say(ish) but it really isn't hard, think big 3d jigsaw puzzle, if you take your time you wont go wrong as things only fit one way and ask questions if you are unsure about anything.

its a question of a little extra cost against possible aggravation for me.

No man i've built my own twice before in the past.

1. It's not very rewarding for me, just really scary praying all the parts will work and everything lol.

2. The last time I almost broke my motherboard in half trying to clamp the heatsink and fan onto the CPU!!! I'd rather churn out some extra cash and not have the worry lol.

3. I'd like to get a big parcel in the post (or whatever), get it home, plug it in and watch it fly. Not sit there thinking right, this bit here that bit there, oh crap I just broke everything lol....

Thanks for the replies though!

Building your own pc and the problem solving which comes with it sometimes is all part of the fun! 8)

Cable routing is job satisfaction in itself!

..and it certainly sems less complicated/stressfull than dealing with customer services on a custom build

especially if they put in a cheaper motherboard and don't send the discs, manuals and other hardware.

its all sorted out now, had to take 1/2 off work waiting for the courier to pick it up and i got no apology or compensation.

won't use aria again.
seems aria have taken a slide since the last custom pc i bought 2 years ago.
