Hi

I've just bought a load of new bits to update my comp, unfortunately did the biggest mistake didnt check the power connectors, anyone know of a PSU over 500w that had a 24 Pin power an 8 pin cpv 12vault connector and a PCI-Express power cable...

Ideally I'd like to get hold of a Barebones case with the power supply already in... But just the name of a power supply would help.

thanks to you all in advance Lee

If you want a decent power supply DO NOT get one bundled with a case they aren't good for anything except paper weights, in my opinion.

Now i WOULD recommend a Seasonic S12 600 watt psu, if thats a bit too expensive then theres Tagan either the 500watt version or the 580 watt.

Whats the rest of the spec of the pc?

Have you got a 20pin ATX and a 24 pin mobo? if thats the case it will plug in 4 pins short, but its reccomended if thats the case to get a better one. Anything generic is not good for anything, and i know from past experience.

Rest of spec is

2 gb ram 533
512 PCI-Express Radeon ((cant remember number )) graphics
Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLi 775 motherboard
Intel Pentium 4 524 [3.0,RET,775]

a really beat up 5.1 sound card, nicely stacked in a old Midi Case, with an 80gb Hardrive
