good on you mate good luck too :D, i was the same i handed in a CV on thursday, got the interview on saturday, got a phone call on monday and i start on friday :D

I had a group interview at Waitrose it was pretty naff tbh, they just want to see that you dont go raving mad around other people :).
Luckily I did manage to control myself :P.

I also have a job interview and I'm 14.
Shame the job doesn't pay me and it's only for two weeks.

I also enjoyed my first day at work on Saturday (at Waitrose) so much that I did over-time yesterday for 9-6. :D and for next tuesday for 9-6.

didnt take me that long at all. took about 3 weeks. tbh im just very lucky.
Well when I applied for a job at Waitrose, It took a couple of weeks for the first interview then about a week later I got called for a second interview for a job on customer services, but I didn't get it because you had to cross-train with the meat and Delhi counter and I didn't want to. Then a month and a bit later I got another interview for a job on Dry goods and got the job then, glad I got that one actually as customer service looks boring tbh :P.

I hope it went well. I find out on Friday, but there were a few patches where they seemed to be waiting for me to give a particular answer, or I'd answer and they'd wait for something more, so all in all I'm not sure. They set me a test at the beginning, with a blank map of the UK and a list of places which I had to plot. I think I did that quite well.
Damn I hope i get it though. They delayed announcing if I'd got it because of some shake up which is happening there at the moment. There could be 3-5 positions going for the same job I applied for, so I hope that means i have a good chance.
I don't need an interview for my summer job. :D
right i got one thing to ask of people here. they said i should dress casual. what would that mean because i got smart shirts which look casual.

I'm not moaning about the one I have currently, I love it, just glad I didn't say I wanted to corss-train otherwise I would of got the c/s job and I wouldnt of liked that, especially as that one was for a wayyy smaller waitrose whereas the one I'm in now is nice and roomy and a big staff area :D.
I have had 8 interviews and no new job yet, can i claim a prize please?

well maybe the interviewer thought otherwise :|, i felt that way saturday when i got my interview because it was my first ever and i beat 6 other people to get the job! so dont think of the worst right away mate. i start tomorrow btw, im nervous as hell!

well done.
though if i do get this job im gonna be minted as my pay rises by 50p(per hour) every 60 days (up to £12.50 an hour!) and i would get bonuses as well

and thats brilliant pay :eek: i really do wish you all the best of luck and hope you get it then :thumb: im at about £3.75 an hour or something :(, plus extra hours and bonuses, but once i turn 18, it goes up to £5.90 im sure with extra hours and bonuses. its crap pay just now but i guess i have to start off somewhere :\
