View Full Version : suitable graphics card
Hi,
i am running a pentium 3 533 Mhz with a Rage LT pro 2x graphics card and there is 512 Mb of ram on the motherboard, can any one suggest a better / faster graphics card for this setup , i get the occaisional freeze/non responsive screen on the odd time.
suggestions gratefully received.
For your system a newly released gfx card doesnt seem needed, assuming your not gaming of course.

That really is all i think you would need. IF your thinking of upgrading soon, i would hold off and get a PCI-E card with new parts. Whats your budget for the GFX card if not upgrading?
thanks for the reply,
i have upgraded 1 pc and plan to upgrade the other soon.
i have a p4 dual core 2.8 ghz with 512 ram, and am impressed, it cost about 200£ for the m/board new PSU ram and proccesor, i think i will do a repeat purchase on this, oh and i just bought 2 asus a9250 graphics cards (thought it would also do in older system, but spec is too low!)
