XP Themes.

But i dont want any bloatware on my computer, what do you guys use?

I rename the UXtheme.dll thing and download the visual style.

Once i double click it to apply it just takes me to apperance options?

litestep is a good alternative shell as well. Can take a bit of work though!

To get the .MSSTYLES themes to work use this

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/UXTheme-MultiPatcher.shtml

Then reboot.

Then open ure theme file and click apply.

Simpler way than above... and to save scrolling the theme sites again hehe

I've no evidence to support this, I use their styles on my own machine and I've thrown every system scan at it I can with no results, but it should be mentioned. I've got a theme called royale, it comes with royale noir when you download it. It's like the original XP theme + Web 2.0

I love it.
