Basically i've invested around £450-£500 on a completely new "Rig". Im just curious if any of you guys would have spent your money on different things - and what changes would they be?

Bare in mind i very rarely game on my PC (got my PS3 for that) so an expensive gfx card wasnt top of my wish list.

If I wanted a fairly basic system, probably something along those lines, although I'd buy Logitech mouse and keyboard as I love them. :)

The main purpose of my PC is to decode videos/stream videos (ps3 media server) and download files as as a bit of social networking.

I game a little bit but ive got 60+ games for my PS3 so ive no need to do it on here as much.

I don't use mine for much these days, despite having bought an i7. :p

I play some games on the PC, mostly on the Xbox and watch HD content and do some media conversion on the PC, so power is really helpful. For input devices though I just can't stand using cheap ones, which is why I have my MX1100 mouse and KB340 keyboard. :)

ive been through 3 keyboards and mice during this process, the last change (to what i have now) was a result of wireless keyboards and mice being an epic fail by dropping/changing signal every other day and not pairing up easily
