Does the Ocz 600w PSU come with any cable, e.g. a graphics card PCI-E cable, I am only wanting to know this because I believe from reviews on the graphics card i'm getting does not come with a power cable to the PSU
Here's the Ocz 600w PSU:

it does and will be fine for that graphics card, i personally wouldnt go for a powerclolor make tho, look for a different brand, id pay the slight extra for this one

or if you have more cash id go to a 5870 straight away, will be worth it

^^ it depends, I'd say Hd5850 is more than enough to play all new games at maxed, accept crysis/metro 2033 ... also it depends on resolution!
as to brands it really doesn't matter ... if you go for HD5850 get cheapest one!
as to PSU, yes it got one 6pin and one 6+2pin gpu power connectors.

Brands do matter if you want your card to last, cheaper brands use cheaper components and will give out sooner generally.

Why?

:cop:I don't believe the OP was asking for advice on which card to go for, I also don't believe that he can afford more as in another post he already asked for advice on his system and already stepped up from his original idea of a 5830. :cop:
Just my opinion, of course.:p

I understand money is allways a factor, I just know the 5870 will perform better is all.
In my experience the powerclolor cards are not built to great quality but the sapphires are (i dont know if they still are but the sapphires used to be on the same production line as radeon cards so you were basically getting the same card with a different sticker on it but slightly cheaper).
I might have had bad luck with powercolour but all the sapphires I have tried have been rock solid for years.
Have you used many powercolor cards? If so what do you think of them?

I had a Powercolor 9600pro never had an issue with it.

I do not dispute that the 5870 is better than a 5850.:p

I do not like to generalise (is X better than Y), but I would ask you a question back: for someone on a tight budget is £ 30 extra worth paying for the sapphire?
Have ALL your powercolor been a disaster? Have ALL your Sapphire been excellent?
FYI I just purchased The Powercolor mentioned and my first inpressions were positive, very happy with it (so far).:thumb:
BTW as with anything there are mixed opinions on the powercolor and several reviews (anandtech and the like) question if the sapphire is worth paying extra.:)
What about the ASUS 5850 DirectCU? .. LOL; That's another story..

LOL...regarding money yeah 30 quid does add up but to be honest all my sapphires have been very good quality. But i have had more of those than the powercolors. From what you are saying I would give them another go but i dont need an upgrade for a while.
From experience i know it is better to get the card you want and save for it rather going for one in the budget, as i have done that and was dissapointed with the purchase as it didnt live up to expectations but i learnt from my mistake.

:p Like you, I don't like scrimping either, but I also like a good quality/price ratio (personally I wouldn't pay more for a few extra frame rates).
I went for the powercolor because it has a good cooler (like the sapphire) and comes OCed out of the box (very slightly like the sapphire) for what I believe is a good price. And as I said I've not been disappointed (so far).
Yes please, do give them another chance.:thumb::)
I also have been disappointed sometimes when going for the cheaper option, but I've also been disappointed when going for the more expensive option at other times (cannot ever tell). LOL
