So today is the start of being on ADSL2 thanks to the Skoro thread on optical BT reminding me to negotiate with BT.

Initial results are not too bad, I'm getting drop outs as the line decides on the best sync speed.

Current connection is:
DownStream Connection Speed16976 kbpsUpStream Connection Speed834 kbps

It's altering pretty much every time I run speedtest at the moment, keeping the line busy should help the sync sort out quicker. Shame I'm not working from home today :(

Looks pretty good :) when I'm not at uni, I get 100KB/s down and about 60KB/s up if I'm lucky. Would kill to have a decent net connection at home... but I guess that's the downside of living in rural England :/

Let's hope you get a solid 2MB/s down ;) what's your BT package DT?

I'm on the option3, but price matched to the Sky offering for the next 12months, and based on the Sky price that goes live the 1st of next month.

It's been pretty good over the few years since I dropped cable when moving house due to an almighty messup they made. I was close to forgiveness, but then when BT price matched that soon went away :D
