Hi

Can anyone help please. I am trying to get this DDR3 mem stable on my Asus M4a77td Pro but cant seem to do so.

I have no errors on the mem but what ever i try 7-7-7-24 1.7v at 1600 or 6-6-6-24 1.65v at 1333 if always fails in prime95 between 10 & 30 mins. Am i missing anything as its my first Am3 board .

have you tried increasing the ram voltage?

Hi

Yes i have tried that but on the mem it has 1600 7-7-7 at 1.7v i am looking to see if i should alter anything else but bit confused on some of it cheers.

Done these with memtest got 17 errors so it looks like the mem is faulty cheers.

Had similar issue with my DDR2 kit, currently back with OCZ in Holland. BTW cost me >£10 to send it insured for over £100

7-7-7-24 seems really high-performance, also, does AM3 even support 4GB of 1600MHz ?

I am still waiting for a Rma ..

I read somewhere it can take 2 weeks so i am left with no comp untill then .

Yes my M4a77td pro with take 1600 it even can take 1800 & 1866 according to the manual so i should be ok. Running on the good stick now at 7-7-7-24 1t 1600 at 1.7v cheers..
