Just finished building my first pc and I want to make sure everything is running properly. What software should I use to "stress" test it and make sure everything is running smoothly?

best software that will test the cpu and ram would be Prime 95

I would say use OCCT and Linpack test. Linpack froze on mine as it overheated my CPU with the stock Intel fan - something Prime couldn't do.

Play a game for a good 4hrs...if it holds up it's fine.
