good job :D, what cooler are you using?

Well done Martin :) Really good results there, especially as you haven't just changed a couple of settings, gone in deeper instead :)
Results to be proud of.
oh and how long did it take you to tweek it
Too long lol.
I had to drop the multi down and take advantage of the boards massive bus speed overclocking capabilites.

Very impressive, run any benchmarks on it? Curious to see how the architecture scales for future releases and how that is applied to real world computing.

It's the same as a 4GHZ Deneb, with 2 extra cores lol.
nice martin you got some pictures of your rig would be nice to see if you can be arsed.
thanks

Currently changing 5 fans to remove the turbulence, so I will be able to after I've gone through with that.
I.E, this week.
Damn wish I could afford to get one of those :D

XD
A massive improvement.
Awesome clocks mate. I should be getting mine tomorrow and was wondering what would you recommend as a 24/7 clock?

Ah cool, i'll want to be overclocking mine when I get it. do you reckon that I could acheive this with a cooler master v8?
And also, what's the power consumption on it?
I've heard it goes up to 350 watts full load.
Also I might ask you a few questions when I get mine too, on overclocking it and keeping the thing stable.

Maybe overall system load, but the CPU doesn't use 350 lol.
Overclocking in this current weather's bad, I'd assume 3.8GHZ Prime stable to be manageable.
Il be using mine a lot for video encoding so would like something fast as possible but keeping it cool. What does your temps get up to under load?
Depends what load you're talking about lol.
At the moment, I'm only at 3.9GHZ.
Unless I'm under full load, my temperatures really don't rise at all, the only reason for this is that under full load, the TDP is greater than I'm able to remove, due to the fact I'm using slowish fans with moderate CFM..
In the dawn of war 2 benchmark, my CPU went from 41 to 43c.
very nice speeds. i need one of those chips
Under Fritz which takes all my cores to 100% the temperature is 52c.

That with using a TRUE yeah? Really good temps that. My Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz would top out at around 65c

Using a T.R.U.E yes.

haha, Take a look at my build log, I have the same as you.
This was found on Toms Hardware as a result of overclocking.

Says it uses a lot of power. Being the 1090t model, rather than the 1055t, but there's not a huge difference

i need help verclocking this 1055t on my mates pc, i OC it to 4ghz temps perfectly fine but when it loads in im at 3.6ghz :/
btw it doesnt matter, that graph shows relative power increases when overclocked so the system load is neglegable though things like mobo etc can change system load loads<< thus it would depend on what AM3/vs intel mobo being compared.
ALSO thats not high system load at all so what you chatting, theyre all under 300w full load?? you are misreading that graph loads!!
there is no i7 there OC'd over 4ghz so lets see those results there.
What multi you using Death?
I'd hope 14.

yeh multi set @ 14x
used 14 x 280
actually might not have done.. does it make a difference?
Yes, even though it allows for a multi higher, like 15.. It doesn't work.

D: makes sense i think i have found the sauce of all problems..
also on this gigabyte mobo there are like 3-4 different voltage choices for cpu and NB :/

NB VID voltage
NB voltage
cpu PLL voltage
cpu voltage control
NB voltage is for Mobo?
CPU PLL leave.
CPU voltage is normal.

still i wanna know what they do ;D
