I bought a Dell desktop before. I found out that the PSU of the Dell has different pin configuration and therefore can not be used to supply non-Dell m/board. So, I also have the same worries whether the Dell memories will act in a strange behaviour when it's plugged into non-Dell system.

It's a standard Micron (Crucial) part, re-branded for Dell. When comparing the parts it shows that the Dell part number YG410 is exactly the same as a Crucial part number CT25664AA800 which is the same part as CT757663 which is for an Optiplex 740.
