Right i built a new pc recently, but stupidly didnt think i could afford certain hardware so had to get a step-up motherboard. But i ended up buying a whole new system anyway. Ive currently got a Core 2 Duo E6400 with 2GB Elixir DDR2.

And i've heard the E6400 can be overclocked to around 3ghz. Which i obviously can't do as my current mobo is nothing short of garbage haha.

Any recommendations?

Thanks :D

Asus p5b deluxe should be good for 400fsb, mine is anyway, which would see you to a 50% overclock

I've got a Gigabyte 965P-DS3 which takes the E6300 up to 3.4, there's also the higher-end DS4 board which does the same too :)
