Better to grab one second hand. Quite an old card now (had my 192core GTX260 for a year and a half). Last time I looked brand new retail these things were still around £150. At £100 it's a decent buy.

Cracking card, have the 216 and still plays any game on max with no framerate issues.

Very quiet and low heat card, even under full load fan tends to sit at 40%-55%! impressive cooler design.

Paid £226 for mine at the peak of their demand.

I have a gainwood gtx 260 & it plays everything on full .

Have thought about upgradeing but cant seem to find a excuse to do that yet mite even try to overclock it yet to get more out of it. Dont know how are though cheers..

I've got a Gainward 192c GTX260 (paid £150 for it)....using RivaTuner have it overclocked to 700 on the core and 1100 on the memory. Definately needs an agressive fan profile set to keep it under 60C (especially in the summer).

It's a good card but I find it struggling at 1920x1200 on the newer games.

I have mine set as 625 core 1350 shader & 1100 men & its not overclocked its how it was it hits about 48oc with a 29% fan.

So i think i have a lot of scope to overclock but not done a graphics card before so a bit wiery on how far to push it really..

They are holding there price very well

I have never had any probs with mine & reluctant to let it go so looking to do the board instead..
