Looks good to me, i see no reason why it shouldn't work together.

I would however suggest you spend £30 on a lower power but branded psu, this for example if you don't intend running a powerful graphics card or maybe the 500w version if you are adding a single graphics card that needs external power, about £10-£15 more.

Yes all those components look compatible. Like mac said get a trusted brand for the PSU as these would be better than Aria's ones even if they have higher watts. You really should get a graphics card because the one integrated is not for gaming. You should also get this PSU if you're going to get a graphics card OCZ StealthXStream 500W Silent SLI/Crossfire Ready ATX2.2 Power Supply (https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Power+Supplies/500w+%2B/OCZ+StealthXStream+500W+Silent+SLI%2FCrossfire+Rea dy+ATX2.2+Power+Supply+?productId=29090) .However if you intend not to use the computer for gaming then it is perfectly fine. If you need help looking for a graphics card just give me you're budget for one and i'll try and hook you up with one.

Good advice on the PSU.

little bit more cash but how about, true AM3 board and DDR3 memory, £10 more for board, £1 saving on memory.

Do you have any room to spend any more on it? Or are you tapped out in cash?

Hitachi's RMA service is terrible... I'd recommend either a Seagate 7200.12 500GB or a Samsung F3 500GB.

Apart from going for a lower-power but higher-quality PSU (and no graphics card?), looks like a solid build and should come together nicely :D

For all the online reviews i've read, NickCPC is right, those 2 drive above are great drives. If you can swing it, buy one.

The F3 is good so far for me, i use oen for my OS so its in use 18 hours a day, run fine for 6 months so in my household it has another 6 months to go as an OS drive. Even at 40 quid (was 30) its great value.

Like Coiler suggests, go DDR3 if you can, as he showed its only 9 quid more.

Get as much wattage as you can afford on a branded PSU, its the heart of your rig you can always use it again on a future build.

Top advice there to future proof it. It won't be long before DDR3 is significantly cheaper than DDR2 based on every other generation of memory. It also means you will probably have more choice of processors in the future if required.

The OCZ 400W PSU is fine for this sort of system and a single graphics card up to midrange (say 5770 max).

Yes and I'd also add you have the opportunity to "move" that ram to another motherboard in the future as well...
