A decent aluminium one such as a Lian-Li or Silverstone TJ07 failing that - a Windy one ?
your just throwing brands at me thanks but i was looking more at specifics so you owned this case this is what i think of it etc. i know that i need something big width height and length as a mountian mods case is out of question going for about £600 (the shipping..) i need the biggest most decent case.

The Corsair 800D then ?
My personal choice would be Lian-Li. (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Cases/MIDI+Tower/Lian-Li+PC-8N+Aluminium+Midi+Case+Black?productId=39814)
I've used a Lian Li for my own machine for the last 5 years (all other parts have been upgraded several times).
They look good, are quiet, are very well built & are very easy to work on (easily removable drive bays, motherboard tray & PSU mount).
Regards
Ian.
Have the look at;
Coolermaster HAF 932, although its grey inside. £120

Corsair Obsidian is a seriously nice looking case. £200

Lian Li PC-P50R Armorsuit £150

The Armorsuit would be my choice of case, if i had £150.
Whats your old case?
That Obsidian is indeed a nice case...hot swap drives are nice...but really..a feature you either need or don't and I think a lot of people fall into the latter category. Would prefer that feature dropped resulting in a price reduction.
I like my Lian Li V2000. Very big case. Have a 120.3 rad in the bottom but still maintain a harddrive cage so plenty of room down there for hiding stuff.
That li lian looks awesome thou id prefer blue than red but i also dont think it's big enough it will house a ramapage extreme II for bit which is just short of been an extended atx board and might cover the cable holes.
i think the corsair has won it for me.

:D
Of those three, id go for the Obsidian if money was no object. My CM 690-2 adv, while a great case and well built, is a little on the short side as far depth goes, i would struggle to fit larger psu's in if i used the bottom mounts for a 240 rad, also meaning id lose a bunch of hdd slots. Does a great job without WC in though i would address the filter issue, dust gets in easily despite the filters already present.
There was a MM case on the bay, with all sorts of rads/res's, fans and suchlike that went for 80 odd quid 2 weeks ago. You could keep an eye there for one 2nd hand ?

I've seen one of those tiny things in use. If you're old enough to remember Wyse terminals then basically that's what it is. They are in use a fair amount in the USA in restaurants as payment processing machines linked to a single machine. This gives a much tighter security net and an easier sysadmin job to do, just the one server to look after and each little thin client is actually a VM anyway. It's damn clever stuff, just the power saving alone pays for the investment in just over a year :)

Still needs a window though.
I think I'd buy a Lian Li if I was after a new case. I'm not one for lots of grills leds and buttons.
anyone got any more information or point in the right direction for these 2 new lian li cases that aria have on pre order.
I'd like to check them out before ordering the corsair.

I'm really happy with my Antec 1200 case. Very easy to work with and a tidy case inside. Also you can use the specially designed Antec CP850 or CP1000 PSU's, which due to the increase in available size offer a very attractive range of features not normally available in standard ATX PSU's.
