View Full Version : How can I tell whether SLi is working?

I've purchased the Vista Attitude Infinity from Aria.

This machine does not have an OS installed on delivery and so I spent yesterday afternoon and evening installing XP Pro and patching it etc., along with the motherboard drivers and utilities.

In the manual for the mobo, it shows a step-by-step procedure for activating the SLi mode for the GPUs using the NVidia Desktop Manager, however, when I go into the Manager, the options are different and there's no mention of SLi!

When I first installed the graphics driver, a message bubble popped up saying that I had two GFX cards and did I want to set them to SLi mode; of course I replied that I did, but would like to be able to check that they are indeed active in SLi.

Any ideas?

Good answer, but after using an AMD XP 1300 CPU and GeForce 2xxx card, anything is going to go like the proverbial of a greased shovel in comparison!

I did manage to install one games app last night before bed (on earlies today), which was Flight Simulator FSX and put all the detail levels to MAX and it did seem to be totally lacking in lag - so I suppose that's a good sign!

Perhaps I should download a benchmarking program to test it? What's the standard everyone uses these days?
