Im part of a team organising a festival down here. The PA we're using is a 12kw line array system, but the marquee is going to be in the middle of a field. I'm going to make all the applicable calls tomorrow about the generator we'll need for the rig, but im curious now...
How does a 12Kw PA rig relate to a 12Kva power generator (or are they just the same thing, with a subtle difference?).
And if I was using a 12Kw PA rig, 3000-4000w of lighting, plus a band, what size gen would I need?
Ive just picked alot of those numbers out the sky - but I'm curious ;)
