View Full Version : If you had £10k to spend on a car...
What would you get? Can be used or new. And say a little bit about why you'd pick that car for £10k :D
a second hand evo..because it's an evo 8)
Golf GTi just because its the first car i ever wanted.
:D
Need more info ie Main family car? Sporty little number  you going to be doing alot of miles etc etc.
Skyline GTR.....just comes into the 10k bracket, my dream motor i will have a Bayside Blue R34 oneday but they aren't quite in the 10k bracket.
Something like a Civic maybe? If it needs to be \"sensible\"
I have 10k, so can get whatever car i want, but shame im not old enough. :(
I'd spend too much time watching the G meter in the skyline than watching the raod
you could get the best looking Evo (Evo 6) for round about that price..though it would cost about £2000 a year to insure where we live
I saw a 52 plate 3 series BMW last week for about £8000 but all depends what type of car you want
Well, I personally like the following cars, in order, top being the best...
Honda Civic Type R (198bhp)
Seat Leon Cupra R (225bhp)
Gold GT-TDI (150bhp)
The CTR and Seat pretty much level peg each other on performance, but the CTR looks better, and has a better quality interior finish. Plus, it's Honda :D
have you checked the insurance prices on them seeing as you now live in salford..the premiums get bumped up as it comes under M5 area
i'd get a clio 3. this one in fact :

I just keep the insurance registered at my parents address, like I am doing now ;)

Someone just gave me a Civic! I havent got it yet, but it should be arriving at my house this week! :D Happy Me! :D :D
Hmm.. £10k. I reckon I'd get a 2nd hand Mitsubishi LS200 Warrior if I wanted a big (massive!) car.. For fun, whilst still slightly 'practical', an Evo. Or purely for fun, an Evo. ;) Or maybe a Cupra R :D

They are lovely cars, but only 140bhp?
Yeah, I love celicas, but I think I'd still go for an S3 above a Celica!
