Is she into anything retro? There are a lot of sites that offer retro stuff from things like classic TV shows and films, you could get her a T-shirt and a mug from her favourite TV show, or a classic show she likes, Rainbow, or whatever.

Slanket? Or giant cupcake tin (http://www.firebox.com/product/2248/Giant-Cupcake-Tin?via=gf3k)?

Aaron

Hmmm... Slanket looks interesting, but I'm not sure how much she'd be able to use it at the moment... Definitely on the shortlist though! :)

Its been said you should always buy a gift that you would like to be given yourself (just incase it is rejected by the recipient).
On that note don't get her something hard or heavy
(just incase she may throw it at you).
By the way don't get her something gooey messy or anything that may make you have to take you clothes to the cleaners when she poorsit over you head.

Well after looking at the Slanket, I've keep seeing adverts that JML do one for about £10 cheaper than the original Slanket.. So thats on the list now! Nice one Katie - Katie will be pleased!

I've upped the budget a bit too, so it means I'll be able to do a meal or something too :)

Keep going with the suggestions though incase it inspires me for something else!

i've read somewhere about an insurance claim where someone with fluffy dice was deemed at fault due to reduced visability

tystar
23-03-10, 15:59
there is a law that states anything that can cause a distraction by dangling from the rear view mirror is deemed illegal.

So it's not only dice but air fresheners and taxi driver gubbins that are all illegal.

It's just one of those less enforced laws thats all.

I'm glad the other Katie will be pleased :D

Oh don't talk about cars - I bumped into a car coming off the A14 today because she did an emergency break bumping into the car infront. All because my usual exit was jammed due to an earlier accident.
