I have a friend of mine who is a vicar. He said people actually chose the following hymns to be sung at cremations:

Give Me Oil Im My Lamp, Keep Me Burning
Colours Of Day (First line of chorus - \"So Light Up The Fire and Let The Flame Burn\"

I thought he was just joking around, till he actually showed me the order of service, cos he's kept them for those cos of the song choices!!

He said he tried to talk the people out of having those songs, but they couldnt see why they were a bad choice! :lol: :lol:
