View Full Version : 8800GTS 320mb
be interesting to see what Aria could do these cards for :)
I was just about to post to say,I'm interested in getting one of these, but Aria don't stock them, just the 640MB versions instead.
I've seen a Palit 8800GTS 320Mb for sale at £185, would love to see Aria do something like that :)
Some in stock now, XFX and Albatron

Am tempted but not sure my psu is upto the job :(

Nice, shame they're too expensive though. I'm picking one up tomorrow for £185!
What PSU do you have? I'm worried mine won't cope too :)

I'm also on a Tagan 480w PSU as well, from what I've read it should just about power the 8800GTS.

Dude! I thought you were broke. I'm jealous now, look what you've gone and done.[/quote:e003949591]
I am broke! But I'm paying for it on my credit card, then selling my 7800T on eBay. The remainder will be paid off at the end of the month when I finally get paid :)

[quote:3bcdd66402=\"PrivatePyle@Work\"]How much for the 7800?[/quote:3bcdd66402]
Dunno yet, it's definitely worth over £50 though I'd say. I thought £100, but they're dropped in price a little now that the 8800's are out. Having said that, I have a real bad *** HSF on this 7800GT :)

if price is right Barley i might have the 7800 of ya unless I can find some more cash for the 8800
most of the 7800GT's I been looking at on the bay have gone for about 60 or 70 quid without postage
I know the BFG version of the 8800 320mb is £199 and the Inno3d version is about £188
I'd be happy to take £70 for it, bearing in mind that's because the the BFG 7800GT comes pre-overclocked, and because I put an AC HSF onto it so it's totally quiet :)
Guys, these cards rock!!
My 3Dmark06 score with this card in has shot from 4410 to 8028!!
I think I've talked myself into getting one lol

Frankly, I hate you right now.[/quote:9c470092e1]
Don't get too hateful just yet.
It turns out my power supply can't really cope! Every time I leave my PC on and go away and come back to it later on, it's on, but there's no one home if you know what I mean. The PC is powered on, but the mouse and keyboard etc have no power and the machine won't work. Then I reboot it and have no sound!
There's not enough power for every component in the system :(
I really need a new PSU, anyone get any recommendations for about £60 or less?
luckily I got a 600w psu so hopefully it will work when I get round to buying one
