View Full Version : Monitor problem
Hi
My new PSU arrived today so i decided to install that up, so i plugged all the cables into there right places, pci-e sata atx etc
but when its turned on my monitor gives me the whole no signal check signal cable dianostic, so when i did that, I made sure it was properly plugged in and it is. and no matter what dvi port i put it into it i have the same problem.
It's being plugged into a Geforce 8800GTX, Ive even tried it using a different monitor and that gives the same error.
Excuse the spelling etc, im on a laptop!
Hi,
Have you gave your graphics card power?
Thanks
Yeah, its got the two PCI-E Cables going into it, and I can feel the fan blowing air around.
1. What PSU is it; and
2. Did you reseat the graphics card?
It a OCZ 700W SLI Ready GameXStream.
Reseat? Not that I knw if, if you mean unplug it and then plug it back in again?
Thats the PSU i have in my pc and i have the Gainward 8800GTX and mine works fine.

Just wondering if, in the unplugging and replugging of cables into the 8800, it's come a little unseated from it's slot.
still the same problem
@Micky did you use the two PCI-E cables to power it or your card come with other cables you can lug into it?
Got it working, theres two cables that look so alike, and when I plugged one of them in (Its the one that's attack to same ATX cable, the 24 pin or 20, not sure, it wouldnt power up but i found another one and plugged that in and its all good.
