What motherboard????

What mother board should i buy?

I want a mother board that is :

*Core 2 duo compatible
*Has four channels for ram
*At least one AGP slot, but will allow me to put in another SLI capable card.

Pls help, cuz im a noob in need! :)

As far as i know the motherboard below is likely to be the only conroe / agp motherboard available.

It has four ram slots, but two are for DDR and the other two are for DDR2, they cannot be used together.

Also, the pci-e is actually 4x instead of 16x, due to its via chipset.

Indeed, that was the main reason I was put off buying it. I don't understand why they've done that, I bought an ASRock Dual-SATA2 939 board at the end of 2005 and it's a great hybrid board, it even has 16xPCI-e.

cool, it kinda sucks cuz i just bought the 7800gsoc and i dont want to get rid of it but i also want to engage my sli and up grade my processor and theredoent seem to be any way of doin that.

you can't sli agp can you? I thought it was only pci-e that was sli
