Go for it! It can be beaten no doubt! Want more competition in AM3 class so gives you all something to aim for. If i did 3 other tweaks (if i had the time), it would be better, but CBA, got packing to do!

I'm not sure what's going on here, I should be almost second faster than you guys :confused: fresh XP install stripped to the bone, way faster nb and mem clocks with much better timmings..... Sure you guys have downclocked all your cores? :ninja:

Lol Gappo. Its OK, i'm leaving to 1366 so you just have 1 guy to beat :P Thing is, i kept hitting no higher than 22.600s ish with XP stripped. I then used W7 as i always get better scores for some reason with SPI, PI Fast, wPrime and somehow hit the score i got. I did however was hitting .500s a lot. Out of the 100+ times i clicked go, i hit the 400s score just once. Just luck of the draw guess.

One question though, how come your VCore is shown at only 0.968V when it is running at 3Ghz? Gotta be an error on the CPUZ part. No way a quad core can sustain with that little power.
it's no error quite easy to hit 3 from 2.8 at that voltage
it is the 930 not the 920 don't take much power until your over 4Ghz.
ill be happy to include voltmetre reading off the rampage II board if needed

I am no where near any of the S775 times and i mean nowhere near, 1.5 seconds a drift.
some people are holding out on their scores for last possible minute i think mine can be easily beaten but i will keep trying.
I just havent had a chance yet! Not that I'm expecting to be able to beat anybody's times! :lol:

though it was a simple minor deviation that spurted over 0.1 then he can simply do it again and prt scn when its not flashed 0.1 over.. might sound pedantic.. but in something such as this there needs to be a measure of control.

Potential issue? The 920 etc runs with a 20multi... This means it runs 20-20-20-20. Under turbo it runs 22-21-21-21 which means core1 hits 22 multi (3.Xghz) when you are made to believe it remains on 21 as this is what cpu-z reports. (this could be just some rubbish theory of mine but take a look).
As you can see, my result is massively quicker than most (although I am running stripped 7 with sweet FA running in the background).

or prehaps to solve the issue everyone with turbo can have it on, this should negate that problem.

From what I remember of the rules, a few MHz each side is fine. You can't control that much of a difference over a 15 multi or what ever it is. It either means 12-13mhz less or 1-3 more.

From what I've read 3001Mhz is the ceiling, those high multi's must cause a few headaches.:crash:

Nope, all cores and ht remain hence a 21 multi. The only way I could get. A multi of 22 to engage was with 1 core and ht off. Shame really lol as it would have explained alot.
That was ran on tiny 7 with everything I could think of disabled. Windows task bar even crashed. Was rather proud of breaking windows :D

Scrap that, I'll aim for 3000mjz as I'm almost 3mhz over which is an unfair advantage. With a re-run I hope to get almost as close, shouldn't be too much of a problem right?? ;) :p

Similar reason as to why i'm not bothering, i have morre cpu coolers than i know what to do with here so have no need of another, should i have won of course.

We can see the time and date pretty clearly in the bottom left. The only possible problem is notepad.

If you read custompc, youll see the p6t deluxe v2 is the faster "out of the box" motherboard you can buy when looking over all of there tests. I think that explains it.. gigabyte and foxconn boards seem to be some of the slower... Not tht it effects how the board overclocks, just because its fastest out of box doesnt mean its fastest when overclocked.

Thats where it makes a difference.. usually around 0.1s per 10s.. so in theory I should be around 0.13s faster on tiny 7 than on normal win7. maybe a little more.

I was told that it's better to have tighter timings and loose a bit of the speed.
I can run at 833MHz 4-5-5-12 1.8v or 900MHz 5-6-6-18 1.9v

You could really do with tightening up them timings even if you have to slow the memory down abit :)
I tried both ways Will, overclocked and/or tighter timings. I haven't exactly got uber equipment and my mobo doesn't seem to like me too much but overclocking the ram from ddr 800 to 936mhz gave the best performance.
Thanks for the suggestion though and I may have another go but not exactly expecting to win anything, just taking part. ;)

I'll go give it a go.
drop the multi as low as it'll go and up the FSB as high as you can get it to go while staying under 3.0ghz (i think your lowest multi is prob 6x so 500FSB is the highest) then to get the highest score posbile make usre all background operations are closed and make sure your ram is running as fast as it will go

I set my FSB to 500 and the PC wouldn't start.

na, stock is 2000@7-8-7-20 1t so I didnt tighten them much, and they're only 2t cos of this foxcack board.

1.4 cpu/nb vid But only because I have 4gb of ram in. That northbridge isn't high for phase at all but the chip can't take anymore so I save on the voltage. Ive got a c2 sempron that will run 3700+ with ease :thumb:
That ram divider I was using is the only one that allows over 888mhz which I couldn't do because of the 3ghz cap lol.
