I never realised that the effect was so great 3 inches doesn't sound much but all those 3 inches add up!

All those 3 inches won't be in the same direction though, they'll all be in different locations pushing the planet in different ways.

Think about it this way though, you're gonna live longer if you count the years! :D (slightly)

I wonder if this will have any affect on GPS and stuff. Maybe not now, or in the next few weeks, but what about months? As the satellites slowly but surely move off course, will it affect them?
