View Full Version : Do want
Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch graphics tablet. Unless anyone can recommend a better tablet for a similar price. They're about £70 from what I've seen.
Also, any chance of these coming back into stock?

For this HTPC I keep on about. Decided to take the micro ATX route instead of mini ITX. I guess not, as that case doesn't seem to be on the manufacturer's website that is linked to on that page.

get a used intuos 3 of the bay of e as they are much better the touch is just a gimmick ive used 2 and my intuos 3 kick there *** from here to pluto and back again. im gonna get a intuos 4 next month as long as my bank account agrees lol.
Arranged by price, there is only one Intuos 3 that falls within my budget. I've added it to my watch list, but am not holding out much hope as there are still 2 days left.
The multi-touch technology on the Pen & Touch wasn't really the reason for wanting that particular tablet. The simple Bamboo Pen on its own just doesn't seem worth it, because you don't get the extra buttons on the tablet or an eraser on the pen. It's like Windows 7 Home Basic - too basic to be worth it. I might use the multi touch functions, but I highly doubt it. And the BP&T is more sensitive than the Bamboo Pen, with 1024 pressure levels and a higher resolution.
I was aiming for around £50, but after seeing a review on Youtube of the BP&T I thought it'd be good to push my budget up to £70 (the price of the BP&T) to see what else I could get at that price range and the BP&T is currently my favourite.
Also not keen on the inkwell-style pen holder of the Intuos 3. I had a graphics tablet before with that sort of pen holder. It was a £30 uber fail of a graphics tablet and while the pen was in the inkwell holder, I knocked it once and it snapped.
