You have to sign up but well worth it if your on your laptop away from home or iphone and don't want to miss one of your favourite shows. Since they are free to air channels to they are legal to watch but you can only watch if you are in UK like with HULU.

In the Uk you can watch any streaming channel as long as it is on catch up and not being aired live without a TV license. I cancelled mine ages ago as I do not really watch much tv but when i want to just iplayer it or something similar.

I play too many games to watch that much tv. :)

If that worked in Windows Media Center, it'd be awesome.

Edit: Woohoo!

How long is content available/viewable for?

There's plenty of stuff I've recorded as its unlikely to be repeated or released commercially.

its more as a streaming of 'live tv'

eg. whats on ITV 1 now would also be streaming on the site too. just runs a couple of mins behind thats all.

Interesting, although the name is a bit misleading, since it makes it sound like you can watch programmes that have already been shown.

Actually, I see on their forum
No, because catchup is what the site was launched to do, what it did do, what it is intended to do again very soon

Although "very soon" may turn out to be several months or more.

It's even handier on the iphone coz you needent miss your fav programmes on the way home from work or if your misses says you got to go pick the take away up etc.
