I have (and loved) KOTOR and Oblivion. I also have KOTOR 2 but loved it a lot less!

Question is - what next?

I'm told Morrowind and Neverwinter Nights won't appeal to somebody who has seen the KOTOR or Oblivion loveliness.

What shall I try now?

Just googled it and found the following:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Atari-Fahrenheit-PC-DVD/dp/B0009WXQHS/sr=1-2/qid=1170763476/ref=sr_1_2/026-1473900-9839604?ie=UTF8&s=videogames

Is that it?

I don't tend to watch horror (I've seen too many sh*tty things in my time to find it entertaining), and this looks like the PC equivalent.

Otherwise though, it would certainly be worth a look.

I played and completed Fahrenheit last year sometime on the Xbox (although my copy was called Indigo Prophecy - its the toned down US version I believe. I dont think the Euro version was out then).. Its a great game actually.. You dont have the same freedom as you do in Oblivion etc, as you follow a story, but the different choices you make in the story will have an effect on what happens later in the game.

You play the part of at 3 main characters. A guy who commits a murder, and the 2 officers solving the case.. along with a couple more random people thrown in for good measure.

I really enjoyed it when I played it - infact, I might start playing it again tonight....

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll give it a go.

What makes you say you've seen enough in your time to stay away from bloodshed soaked PC gamery?

A foray into a certain nation not long after it had a coup.

I've no objection to games which involve violence etc, as long as it doesn't seem to me that (much like horror) that the nastiness is a major selling point.

well, its centred around a murder, but thats about it. As PP says, its more spooky and atmospheric than gory or violent. It has a couple of moments involving guns, but thats about as far as it goes. Its definitely not a shoot 'em up!
