Just wondered what people's ideas of the most annoying adverts on TV are at the moment and wondered if we all thought the same?! Some of them actually put me off buying/using the products!

A couple I can think of off the top of my head are:

GoCompare - with the stupid singing man
WeBuyAnyCar.com with the ridiculous singing/dancing newsreader.

Any others people would care to add?! (no pun intended  :D)

Constant DFS adverts!!

Direct line ads. Paul Merton and Stephen Fry = maximum irritation.

What I would give to be hiding in the sound studio with a large croquet mallet the next time they turn up to do a voice over.

All the above.

And the current Take a Break advert, Churchil adverts and Foxy Bingo. I just hate adverts in general at the moment. Whatever happened to the adverts which were actually entertaining so you actually took note of what they were advertising, rather than just changing channel as soon as they started?

Talk Talk and (until its recent demise) Tiscali.

Not the advert so much as the cheek to offer services when they know they are so bad, most people are going to wish they'd never heard of them!!

What are adverts ;)

I record all my TV, sky+, and fast forward through all the adverts.

1 hour program on a commercial channel is 45 minutes, do that 3 times in an evening thats an extra 45 minutes of program rather than wasted time....

I just hate that advert because it's so slow and takes far too long for what it actually has to say.

When i seen the title of the thread, the webuyanycar advert popped immediately into my head. So that tells you what I think of that.

I hate any advert with kids toys, they just legitimise blackmailing from your children.

Oh yeah, those adverts I hate too.

"I was installing a fire alarm system, when I was actually given the wrong type o' ladder. Being t' professional that I claim to be, I shoul'ta refused t'do t'job until I was given t'right equipment, but instead I did t'job anyweh. Me left and wus crushed. I dint get any compensation b'cause it was all my fault, but because I tried t'claim against my employer, I ended up losing my job after t'lengthy court proceedings, which cost me m'other arm anna leg. My 'ome 'as now been repossessed b'cause I couldn't pay t'legal fees."

Anything dubbed i find extremely displeasing, its nearly ALWAYS obvious its not their original voice and you can always tell if its a none english speaking language dubbed. They even dubbed American Actors/Singers voices to british ones in the past, i mean come on, as if we wouldnt know!

If there going to be cheap and not create an advert in our country and insult out intelligence, should we buy their product?

As for webuyanycar, i valuated my R reg rover metro on there, they offered me £60 and £29.99 was a charge for their mechanic to look at it lol.

envirofone. I can't help thinking I've seen that logo before, at a particularly popular computer etailer (not Aria). Actually, I see they've changed their logo now. Maybe said etailer threatened to sue. Anyway, I checked my fully working, mint condition Nokia 5200 on there to see how much it'd be worth. When it's unlocked, it sells for £70, when it's locked to a particular network it sells for about £30.

They offered me £7.76.

I was going to say I stopped watching TVbecause of the stupid adverts but it was actuall the constand reeruns of soaps all the time that turned me from the box in the corner.
The advert that most annoyed me was that car advert for the Kia soal-less

Easily the most annoying adverts are those poxy 'coming next' or 'starting on x date" banners that actually intrude on the programme. Sky One has had the worst of all with the programmre reduced to postage stamp so they could do a full screen advert for Lost! The screen squeezes to advertise HD are extremely bad too.

Complain to OFCOM about these!
