Monitors?

There's quite a selection of tft monitors on Aria's website and for my new build id like to invest in a new one. 19 inch is the minimum but id like to hit 21 or 22 inch, which of the monitors is best for gaming in your opinions, specific models please....

Does any one have a monitor with a glass screen and are there worth the extra money. And what is the difference between a glass monitor screen and a standard one apart from the price

Generally the things to be looking for in a good panel are (in no particular order)

Sub 16ms pixel response times. 8ms is good enough.
S-IPS or M-PVA panel types. TN film is quick, but has only a 6-bit colour pallette and poor viewing angles.
8-bit colour pallette capability.
>=700:1 contrast and >=500:1 brightness.
>170/170 degree viewing angles.

Combine all of those and you've got yourself a great panel. Of course, it'll cost you :)

As for the glass screen, it's just what it is, a glass panel mounted over the top of the TFT panel to protect it from harm. If you've ever touched a normal TFT with your finger you'll have noticed it bends in a little, push it too hard and you'll crack the LCD. This is just to stop that sort of thing happening :)
