Just as I am interested in buying some memory, the price of the patriot has just shot up by afew quid AFTER I pm Raz for a price match.

This happened last time with a laptop I bought, I posted the price ont he forum, PM'd for a price match and the next day the price shot up and a further price match bought it back down. Is this some ploy into fooling ppl they are getting discounted prices?

Can someone explain whats going on?

Hi there

I look after memory, memory pricing has moved up again and as such our pricing has moved a bit, memory pricing changes daily, even hourly.

I was not aware you had discussed anything with Raz, anything agreed will be honored but on a whole prices are on up the up especially as the exchange rates are going rather poor in the last week.

I found it very odd that this happened literally the next day after I queried a price match. Last time on the laptop it went up by £10, only to be 'price matched' and bought back down again by about £9 if I remember correctly.

I will leave it as a coincidence.

Thanks for responding anyway.
