Hi guys,

Placed my first order with Aria on the 7th, received a phone call on the 8th explaining my order had been dispatched and due for delivery "definitely" today (9th) - thinking this was great service and that I'd be a loyal customer for years to come.

However, after the phone call there was no email confirmation, I thought this was a little strange, however as it was my first order perhaps I just didn't know the procedure.

Phoned CS today to confirm that my order had been despatched. Just to be told that it will be despatched shortly, and "definitely" be with me tomorrow (10th).

I am a bit miffed with this as I took the day off work today. I have no objection at ordering Sunday (7th) and for it to be delivered on the Wednesday(10th) - this is totally acceptable and not my point. But the fact I was phoned and told I would take delivery on a particular date ( 9th) but for it to not of even been picked yet is disapointing.

Hope this was a one off as the rest of the forum seems to be brimming with compliments - rant over :(

Sorry to hear about the problems with your order.
Please post your order number and I will check and make sure your order leaves us today for delivery tomorrow.

Do you mind me asking what you ordered as ive never heard of Aria calling people to let them know of dispatch, Only e-mail.

I'm assuming it's a full PC he's ordered as I remember someone saying that they give customers a courtesy call to let them know when they're system will be with them.

Actually Aria have called me about components before, usually when something is out of stock and a replacement is required so they have called to ask about the replaced item. In fact these are the only delays I have experienced in around 3 years of ordering. If someone is on your back about the order it is a bit annoying, but in my experience it is really rare and 99% of orders are delivered well on time (especially recently)

I have had the same thing, but TBH I feel that the call/e-mail/whatever should go out as soon as someone sees that something is out of stock.
This could be the case and it was just with my one order with the low/no stock that was the problem and it took quite some time before I got told.

This has been the only order that I have had a problem with out of the last 4 or 5 since November and it was just before Xmas.

Well I received all my goods on the 10th, and I presume it was just a one off with getting the deliv. dates wrong.

All the goods were perfectly wrapped and nothing DOA which always makes me happy :thumb:

btw it was a whole system I had ordered... Defo use Aria again though, certainly a better atmosphere on the forums than some of the competitors :O
+ On the system I had spec'd up, an identical spec on another website was £70+ more expensive!
