Can't find anything, but maybe if you have to pay double the price for definate Elpida's, is it not worth the risk of buying these and finding out if they are, if so, sell them on?
I guess it's worth a blast. I'll order them tomorrow, hoping something come's up in the mean time.

the only thing that has me worried about that.. is that they are the only set of ram i have seen with less than a lifetime warrantee for a long time... still.. 10years is a long time :P

what on earth is elpida?
they are the company that makes the ram chips that other companys buy and bolt on their sticks :)
theres only about half a dozen companys that make the ram chips, most names you know buy from them and make the sticks you use in your pc :thumb:

HI there
10yr / lifetime is same thing.
Patriot is lifetime warranty but in UK/EU you are supposed to put 10yr due to EU regulations blah blah.
Patriot memory is very good and those 1600MHz C7 kits are a bargain.
yep used these a few times and they are great, they also come with 3dmark vantage - well at least the batch i used
cheers
