I just know that there's a topic about this somewhere, but for the life of me can't find it. Odds say that I'll find it as soon as I post this.

So, I've run across two issues with the new site (maybe old news...)

1 - When you click 'buy' for any item, it seems to put two of them in the shopping cart.

2 - My saved cart from the 'old' Aria website are gone! Only a slight annoyance though...

Hi,

RE adding two of items to your basket... Not doing it for me but it did a few times in testing. Is this from any page? What browser are you using?

Saved baskets will be converted over to the new website shortly.

Thanks,
Chris.

oops - sorry, should have added something more specific!

Using latest Firefox. Adding things from the standard 'Products, quickfind' tab, and from when you click on the item to get the specifics. I did a test to see what happened if I added 2 products to the shopping cart - the result was 4 being put in there.

Another issue.

Under PSUs, the Seasonic 600w S12 Power Supply isn't listed under a brand-name search of PSUs for Seasonic (only the 400w is), but it is listed under a more general list of all PSUs.

Don't mean to be picking faults - it's a great looking site!

Hi,
We tested the site with the latest Firefox (I'm using it myself) and we do not get the 2x buy bug. We had a bug causing this error before on the beta site. Maybe you can clear your browser cache and try again?

All your feedback is very helpful!

Many thanks,
Alex

I am seeing a lot of red \"x\" in boxes where i assume there should be pictures under the items description.

Also every time i click the \"Previos page\" arrow on my browser, IE7, i get a page saying

\"Error

Developers will be informed about this issue\"

Cleared the cache, still does it. Is there any other information you'd need from me to replicate this?

Something weird is going on.

I've put together the order I'm thinking of placing, just like it was on the old site. Here's the new problem:

I selected the P5B Deluxe Wifi I'm after (in that part of the shop it's listed as Asus P5B Deluxe P965 Socket 775 - which, confusingly, is the same name for both the wifi and non-wifi boards), at £103.65 (ex vat). Added it to the shopping cart.

I go to my shopping cart, and there are two of the same board (the problem persists, even after deleting my cache and restarting my computer).

So, I reset the quantity back to 1, and check to make sure it is the right board. By the way, the price in the shopping cart at this stage is showing, correctly, £103.65. When I click on the name/hyperlink I get taken to the non-Wifi version of the MB that, bizarrely, is a different price than either of the two boards in the main shopping area.

I don't know whether it's my computer being a bit screwy, or whether there's still a glitch on the site. However, I had no problems with the previous site and I can use other sites without a problem.

I've attached the links to each of the boards below:

This is the 'Asus P5B Deluxe P965 Socket 775' that I want:

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Motherboards/Socket+775+%28Intel%29/Asus+P5B+Deluxe+P965+Socket+775?productId=23805#/Products/Components/Motherboards/Socket+775+%28Intel%29/Asus+P5B+Deluxe+P965+Socket+775?productId=23805

This is the one I don't want:
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Motherboards/Socket+775+%28Intel%29/Asus+P5B+Deluxe+P965+Socket+775?productId=25775#/Products/Components/Motherboards/Socket+775+%28Intel%29/Asus+P5B+Deluxe+P965+Socket+775?productId=25775

This is the one I don't want, but get directed to after choosing the one I do want. Notice the different price:
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Motherboards/Socket+775+%28Intel%29/Asus+P5B+Deluxe+P965+Socket+775#/Products/Components/Motherboards/Socket+775+%28Intel%29/Asus+P5B+Deluxe+P965+Socket+775

I realise that it is listed as bargain basement, but for some reason it's more expensive than the non-bargain basement board.

Can anyone replicate this?

Another problem.

On the new site sometimes when I push back it has an error, can't remember what is is, so isn't much help to you :)

Hi House,
We fixed the bug you found.
The links back from the shopping cart to the product had no product id. So if there were two products with the same name it could happen that you were linked to the wrong product. We added the id now to the links in the shopping cart.

We cannot replicate the 2x bug you found. Could you give me more information about your system?

-------------

Hi Barley,
Can you tell me what kind of operating system and browser you are using? We tested the site with all combinations we could simulate and did not get the error. Where have you been browsing before you clicked back?

Many thanks for your feedback!

Sent in a PM.

And kudos for working on the weekend. I don't envy you there at all!

We repaired a java script that was sometimes causing the error.
You will have to clear your cache and refresh the page before it is updated for you.

Hello guys,

I've also experienced a number of issues with the new website.

I've ordered a \"Vista Attitude Infinity\" machine and when I first tried to order it, clicking on the \"Add to Shopping Cart\" button on it's page didn't work at all! I eventually worked it out by clicking on the \"Buy now\" button on the previous page where all the \"Vista Attitude\" PCs are listed.

Secondly, since ordering my machine, I cannot monitor the progress of my order on the website as it is not listed at all in the \"myAria\" section; the only thing there is a previous order from 2004! I spoke to Customer Services yesterday and was assured that the order was on the system and I was given my order number, but it's a tad frustrating not being able to track the progress of my goods.

The new website looks very nice, but another niggle I have with it is that if I go from one page to another, clicking the \"Back\" button in my browser (IE6), takes me back to the main page and nhot the page that I came from.

Teething problems, I guess, but the inability to track my order is the biggest problem for me.

Btw, I received an email from CServe saying that they had reported the above problem to IT, so something may be done about it.

Hi,
We deactivated the AJAX for browsing through the site now. That should solve the problems you had with the history and the buy button.
Order tracking is included in the new site and works fine. We will check why your order is not shown.

I will send you a pm as soon as the order is shown online and we solved the problem.

Many thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the reply Alex; do you need any order info from me or have you got my details?

Any news about why I can't track my order yet?

Sorry to be a pain and all that, but ...

Hi!

Not as yet... Alex is working through a few issues, that being one of them but we'll let you know as soon as we're up and running with that section of the site.
