View Full Version : Million Dollar PC
Not my rigs, but possibly the best rigs I've ever seen. Not because of the hardware, but because they look amazing.

Here are a few of my fav's from the site:

Infact, they are all beautiful. The photography is amazing too.
You guys should check that site out, plenty of build and design ideas!
I'm actually hoping to build something similar to the first one I linked for my A2 RM... But it may be too much of an expensive challenge for me.
I tried reading through the worklog for teh 2nd pc a few weeks ago, the guy went on for about 300 pictures showing the processes to produce just the triple led screen panel, i got bored after that.
Stunning work though, levels of perfection beyond the meer mortal
How could you not upload this one

Looks aawwwweeesomeeeeeeeee
They ALL look awesome. I would have posted every one of them, but the page would be really long and take ages to load.
The cable braiding in that one is very original, having one cable for every 10 or so a contrasting colour. Very effective.
One thing that confuses me: The PSU is at the front, yet the power plug is at the back. What?
How could you not upload this one
That case looks ultra cheepo.

I do believe that's a Lian Li PC-A05N, and they are superb! it's as small as traditional µATX cases, yet will fit full size ATX and all the drives most people actually need. My favourite full size ATX case by far.

Watercooled HTPC in a Lian Li. I love Lian Li cases, so beautiful. Looks a bit cramped in there though.
Mine would if i watercooled it!
Why are most of these cases backward? So the MB tray is on the left?
Thats BTX or reverse ATX I beleive. I dunno, I suppose the designers/builders wanted to deviate from the usual...

Thats BTX or reverse ATX I beleive. I dunno, I suppose the designers/builders wanted to deviate from the usual...It's not done on a whim, they all fit standard ATX & µATX components. It's just most manufacturers have long stuck rigidly to the archaic ATX standard, which was always lousy
I like the 1st one in the OP's post.
Looks great but a ***** to keep clean :D

Lian Li A05(N), the PSU is front mounted, and an extension cable runs to the back, where it plugs in.
That case looks ultra cheepo.
That case doesn't look cheap....it's about £75 :p
I guess the 'problem' with the modded PC-A05N is the combination of black case with blue lights and detailing - blue case lights will probably long be associated with the rash of cheap & nasty gamers cases that are so patronising

I what you mean, every PC gamer or amateur enthuasaist sticks blue lights everywhere.
*Looks down at PC, Keyboard and mouse and screen power lights and speaker power lights* Eh... :| Hmm.

Wall-e was posted on here a few months ago....
The R2D2 one looks interesting, lots of slots for things.
Personally I don't really like themed cases like those. Yeah they are cool looking, but would I want it? Nah, not really.
That's amazing that someone went that far to put those together. I love some of the pics in the OP, especially the black and white one.

Now, Does anyones here look like that behind the MB tray?
Some of them are stunning. :)
Those cables are so... perfectly aligned, especially the USB hub cable's coming down.
We can only dream.
Does anyone know where to find the work log for this one? I got myself the same Lian Li PC-A05NB case and my cabling is a complete horror show, I need to crib some good ideas!

Someone needs to look at the word filter here. You can post anal but d-i-c-k is censored!
BTW WL if you were really anal those cables would be grouped or regularly spaced, so there's hope for you yet.;)

the red cable is the case's Easta port ;)
The yellow two are the optical drives hence the spacing :D
Yeh, you're past saving :D

when they take pictures of them building a case do you think they realise it takes twice as long
Some very nice systems, great find btw!
Can't find a decent pic but i see that there is type of custom called Steampunk that costs alot in time , money and materials.

That steam punk stuff is amazing, gotta get me one of those !
This might put you off Steampunk as it seems to be a fashion and not just PC mods.

Would be neat to have a SW case. :D
would not be that hard to build with the right tools

I wish I had the ability to meticulously create a case/rig as sweet as these. I'm not adventurous enough to venture into watercooling (yet!) and that's where a lot of these cases draw attention to because of their unique setup. Wish I had the tools and knowledge to create my own case too, but have everything inside that you would want - easy-access drive bays, completely tool-less, noise elimination with foam/material, cable management etc etc.
If I were a millionaire it would definately help! Wouldnt be scared of the watercooling springing a leak - just replace the damaged components with your millions :P

Bookmarked the site. Wow.
Until they can make one that fits in my arm :)
i remain unimpressed :L
The first one looks really cool. Would love that. People won't even know what it is lol.
